QS IT Internship 

 

Position Title: Information Technology (IT) Intern 

 

Position Overview 

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in Information Technologies within an enterprise environment. The intern will collaborate closely with experienced professionals and contribute to significant projects that align with their academic and career objectives. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Provide technical assistance on hardware and software-related issues on a daily basis. 

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software. 

  • Monitor system performance and resolve any arising issues. 

  • Adhere to established procedures and processes for computer and system maintenance. 

  • Perform system backups and maintain precise records. 

  • Research and recommend solutions for technical problems. 

  • Offer training and support in the usage of computer systems and software. 

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas. 

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as necessary. 

  • Collaborate with team members on various initiatives and projects. 

  • Other IT duties may be assigned as needed. 

Requirements and Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields. 

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software. 

  • Understanding of network and system security. 

  • Familiarity with database management and data analysis. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Competence in one scripting language (Preferred). 

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

  • Capability to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology. 

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. 

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
