QuantumScape is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior SAP Business Systems Analyst to implement, support, and optimize our SAP S/4HANA environment, with the opportunity to expand into SAP SuccessFactors. This on-site role requires strong customer-facing skills, functional expertise, deep business process knowledge (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R, Q2C, and ETO), and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across core SAP S/4HANA modules, including:
    • Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Product Costing, Revenue Recognition
    • Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP)
    • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
    • Project Systems (PS), Quality Management (QM)
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations, functional designs, and technical specifications.
  • Lead system implementations, enhancements, testing, user training, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with technical teams on integrations, reports, and custom development.
  • Ensure system compliance (e.g., SOX), maintain data integrity, and optimize processes.
  • Lead and coordinate testing efforts—including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)—to ensure systems meet or exceed user expectations.
  • Develop training materials, conduct user workshops, and provide ongoing support.

 

SAP SuccessFactors

  • Learn and support SAP SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance, etc.) and integrations with related systems such as SAP, TAM, and Workforce.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree & 10+ years (or Master’s degree & 8+ years) of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors in both functional and technical roles.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of business processes across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, accounting, and HR.
  • Strong understanding of SAP configuration, data structures, and cross-module dependencies.
  • Experience in process reengineering with in-depth knowledge of core SAP modules and cross-functional business processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to expand into HRIS (SuccessFactors) and other systems support.
  • Proven experience ensuring SOX compliance.
  • Ability to work independently on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • SAP certifications in S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.
  • Experience in a high-growth, technology-driven organization.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

ONSITE: This position requires you to work onsite 5 days per week to meet the minimum essential duties and requirements of this position. As an on-site R&D and manufacturing operations organization, in-person face to face interaction is essential to building authentic relationships, trust, teamwork, and collaboration.

 

Compensation & Benefits: Salary range for this role is $143,200 - $218,400, and a salary will be determined by the candidate's experience and educational background. QuantumScape also offers an annual bonus and a generous RSU/Equity package as part of its compensation plan. In addition, we do offer a tremendous benefits plan including employee paid health care, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and other exciting perks.
