Title: Product Management Intern

 

Reports to: Principal Product Manager

 

Location: This position is required to be based onsite at one San Jose, CA offices

 

Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a candidate to assist in our competitive benchmarking process
  • This will span researching the entire electric vehicle landscape to understand the market needs of existing batteries to procuring a number of commercial lithium-ion batteries and leading the in-house effort to test/analyze these batteries electrically (cycle life, usable discharge capacity, DCIR, etc.) and analytically (SEM, EDS, DPA, safety).

 

Minimum requirements:

· Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program preferably in a scientific or engineering  field

· Hands on experience working with batteries testing/characterization methods

 

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

· You have a curious, hands-on approach to problem solving.

· You are a strong communicator and love working in a fast-paced, team environment.

· Your time-management and organizational skills allow you to balance multiple projects in parallel.

· You apply your resourcefulness to develop new skills, and you’re not shy about asking questions.

· You share a real passion for our mission.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • May work in clean room, dry room environments, wet chemistry lab and/or wear neoprene or vinyl gloves for 15-30% of the time. 
  • May frequently reach above shoulder heights and below the waist. 
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, lift, push and extend arms.

 

Compensation: This internship will be paid an hourly rate will will be dependent on the year of completed education (undergrad, graduate, phd). The hourly rate range is $25-$40 per hour.
