About the role: QuantumScape is seeking a hands-on SAP Business/Function Analyst with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA v2025 and strong enterprise business process knowledge. This fully on-site role requires close daily collaboration with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, reliability, finance, engineering, and IT. You will design and optimize integrated SAP processes, solve complex problems, and act as a trusted consultant whom stakeholders rely on for clarity, guidance, and best practices.

 

What you will do:

 

SAP Functional Expertise & Hands-on Delivery

 

  • Serve as the primary SAP S/4HANA v2025 expert across EAM, WM, Inventory Management, OTC, Demand planning and Manufacturing (PP/shop floor).
  • Perform hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and solution delivery.

 

Project & Change Leadership

 

  • Lead your workstream’s project planning, scope alignment, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
  • Follow a disciplined SDLC across requirements, design, build, testing, release, and hypercare.
  • Manage change control, including impact analysis, regression strategy, documentation, and CAB approvals.

 

Process & Solution Engineering

 

  • Analyze, connect, and optimize end-to-end processes across manufacturing, logistics, revenue, and finance.
  • Deliver high-quality documentation including process flows, functional specs, configuration records, and test scripts.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks proactively and drive solutions before they become issues.

 

Cross-functional Collaboration

 

  • Partner closely with ERP, PLM, MES, QMS, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure robust systems integration.
  • Provide consultative support and best-practice guidance to business partners at all levels.

 

Compliance & Security

 

  • Support SOX, SOD, SAP security, and access management requirements.

 

Skills you'll need:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years as an SAP Functional Consultant with a focus on EAM, WM, Inventory Management, OTC, Demand Planning and Manufacturing (PP/shop floor).
  • Strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA (Preferably v2025) (EAM, EWM, Inventory, OTC, Manufacturing).
  • Strong project management abilities, with proven success in planning, tracking, risk mitigation, and delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, effective with executives, engineers, and front-line operators.
  • Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, driving large initiatives without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills.
  • Strong process-engineering mindset with the ability to “connect the dots” across functional areas.
  • Trusted advisor attitude with credibility among stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, licensing and/or R&D-intensive environments.
  • Ability to work on-site five days per week.

 

Nice to have:

 

  • Prior consulting experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with PLM, MES, QMS, or integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with automation or agentic AI tools for workflow efficiency.
  • Background in high-growth, advanced manufacturing or high-tech environments.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Understanding of SOX, SOD, and SAP security models.

Onsite: This position is required to work onsite 5 days per week to meet the minimum essential duties and requirements of this position.  As an on-site R&D and manufacturing operations organization, in-person face to face interaction is essential to building authentic relationships, trust, teamwork, and collaboration. 

 

Compensation & Benefits: Expected salary range for this role is from $143,200 to $218,400, and a final salary will be determined by the candidate's experience and educational background. QuantumScape also offers an annual bonus and a generous RSU/Equity package as part of its compensation plan. In addition, we do offer a tremendous benefits plan including employee paid health care, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and other benefits.
